DICOM Anonymization for CT, MRI, X-Ray and Ultrasound

The DICOM Viewer can create an anonymized copy of CT, MRI, X-ray, Ultrasound and other DICOM studies for sharing or storage.

Load DICOM data from a folder, review the images, then click the File icon and select Save data to ZIP.

During anonymization, personal and identifying information is removed from DICOM metadata. The viewer can also remove image slices containing burned-in personal information — text permanently embedded in the image, such as patient names, IDs, dates, or other identifying information.

All processing is performed locally in your browser. Your DICOM files are not uploaded to a server.
